Beach Sand = Skin of Silk!

BEST Reasons Why You

Should ExfoliatYour Skin with Beach Sand!

Planning to take a trip with your best friends to the beach this summer? If you are, you might want to include this skincare tip into your beach day plans. I know, you might be wondering, “what other skin care tip can you get from the beach? Wait, I only get crazy amounts of Vitamin C at the beach.” Ha-ha, we are not talking about consuming Vitamin C. Were here to talk about the beach sand, yes, I said the beach sand.

The beach has three main natural elements, which would be the beach water, sun and sand. Our skin absorbs the sun and water, but what about the sand? What does the sand do? Beach sand is considered to be a fine grounded rock. Each sand grain is made of natural element compounds.

Reason #1: SHEDDING

People don’t realize the skin contains the squamous cells, which is continuously shedding. You can technically say that we’re kind of like shedding snakes. Humans can shed skin, but we don’t usually see it. Everyone creates dead skin on a daily basis, which has to be removed. Beach sand is a very grainy element. When wet beach sand is rubbed into the skin, it removes the dead skin left over. It’s kind of like buffing out a car, but it's our skin. We wouldn’t recommend putting the sand on your face, due to it being a little harsh. You can defiantly lightly rub it on your legs, arms and torso though. After doing so, you can then wash up and moisturize. Exfoliating is beneficial because it helps the skin open up and breath, keeps the skin soft to the touch and makes people less prone to getting breakouts.

Reason #2: AGING

These days in society, we all should know that the best things on this planet stems from all-natural things. Beach sand contains, â€œMother Nature’s” (Earth) electrons, when it’s applied on the skin, we’re officially absorbing those electrons. This actually helps with the counterbalance of free radical cells on the skin. That alone can slow down the aging look everyone is dreading to get. Who knew that such a simple thing like sand was a multipurpose element?

Thank You for reading this blog Goddess, and I hope to see you, at the beach. *Wink*
