Lip Lining Techniques | Pouty Lip Technique

One of the main areas of the face that most women care about, would be their lips. Now a days, women have become more and more obsessed with their lips looking fuller. Hold on, let us give a round of applause to Kylie Jenner, for creating this entity. It’s the year 2020, and women are still yearning to have their lips appear fuller. A good portion of the female population, still doesn’t know how to achieve this. Today, we are giving away tips on how to make the lips look fuller, without using any lip fillers. (that may have intense side effects to the human body) We are strictly using lip liners and lip liners ONLY!

Just starting your makeup journey? Or your looking for more lip lining tips? We hope this blog helps, goddess.

Lip Quality Before the Action

Find your lip liner and lipstick color of choice. If you use brushes, just make sure you have your brushes ready for use. Others, use brushes to blend liners and lipsticks together, but using your lipstick straight from the tube is perfectly fine.
Are your lips dry and flaky? Hydrating your lips, is the key to having photo perfect lips. A lip liner or lipstick on extremely dry lips, can break an overall look. If you do have extremely dry lips, avoid lipstick made with a matte formula

Pointy Pencil

Use a super-sharp lip pencil at all times. If a dull pencil is used, then the application won’t be as precise. Start off shading the corners of your lips, and lead to the very edge of your lip line.

“Stay in Florida, don’t go off to Georgia”

“Stay in Florida, don’t go off to Georgia”, means to stay at the edge of your natural lip line (you want to contour the lip). Don’t go overboard, just chill and try to not get all “happy handed”. Going off to far, will defiantly look like you were trying too hard to have that Kylie lip look. Once, you've filled in the corners, shade along the shape of your lips. When you reach the “cupids bow”, you will have two choices depending on your lip shape. If you have a naturally round cupids bow, then follow that shape, that will give you the effective â€œpump effect”. If you have a naturally pointy cupids bow, then shade over it. After that, your lips will look pouty and perfect. If your push the shading to far, then you most likely will look silly. Remember “stay in Florida, don’t go off to Georgia”.

Lipstick Filling

Use a lipstick shade similar to the liner for a subtler effect, or you can use a slightly lighter shade to complement the liner. “Voila”, now you have alluring plump lips.
